There are probably more than a thousand ways and things to do to show or express romance. But there are few wonderful things that most people really enjoy and look forward to. Some of them people even wish to do before they die.

A glimpse of sunset by the bay is adorably idyllic. The sea breeze by the deck of a cruise ship might make us fall in love all over again. But don’t you think stargazing is more romantic? I do.
Watching the heavens even without the stars is amazing. How much more with a blanket of those sparkling emblems of hope and dreams? How lovely it is to witness the stars on its elegance and glory. If there was a word better than romantic, that’s what I would like to describe stargazing.
But if stargazing was the last romantic thing to experience, where do you think is the best place to do it? There are many places on earth that I think very ideal for this fairy-tale feat, but you might like to consider my short list.
Los Angeles, USA
Los Angeles’ beautiful landscape ideally offers a chance for a breathtakingly romantic stargazing experience. The iconic Griffith Observatory at the top of Mount Hollywood is an amazing place for a spectacular planetary contemplation. Watch striking planets, stars and other cosmic creations through the observatory’s powerful refracting telescopes.
Tuscany, Italy
If you own an executive jet, helicopter or into trade-a-plane venture, why not fly to Italy for business and at the same time an unforgettable stargazing experience? The amazing rolling hills of Tuscany perfectly provides spots to gaze at the proud stars in the heavens. A historic place in itself, because of Galileo Galilei, Tuscany offers perfect spots to view and revel the wonders of the firmament.

Ko Tarutao Island, Thailand
There is so much to see on this island. The sprawling pristine and serene atmosphere of this island provides a priceless nature indulgence. And when the night covers the heavens, glittering golds from afar will surely set romance ablaze. An overlay by the white sand beach at night makes for a magnificent stargazing spot you will surely remember throughout your lifetime.
Kruger National Park, South Africa
Africa makes me think of wildlife, rugged terrains and expansive savannas. But this country is richer than we can imagine. Kruger National Park unfurls its expansive area that makes for a perfect setting to experience not only the wild, but one of the most romantic feat of humankind—stargazing. Behold the incredible icons in the universe while enjoying a moment with your special someone, sipping luxe wine and savory dish.
Lake Tekapo, South Island, New Zealand
Gape at a symphony of color come to life with the Southern Lights between April and September. Lake Tekapo’s bright nights make for an astounding viewing stop and admire the awe-inspiring stars. Mount John Observatory also provides a memorable light show treat you will surely cherish. Remove yourself from the mundane and busy city life for an enchanting stargazing experience.
Stargazing could be a worthwhile and unforgettable retreat from the hullabaloo of the bustling world. It could also be an astonishing adventure, a moment of awe and inspiration to overwhelm our hearts with unique and indescribable feeling. It is full of dreams, comfort and wonders that we can never help but appreciate, cherish and forever reminisce.
When stargazing is the last romantic thing to do on this lifetime, I would surely do it meaningfully. It should be in a place where life is free of the noise and haste and I’ll hear nothing but the magical sounds of nature and the most beautiful sights on the heavens.

May 20, 2020 at 8:17 pmI’ve noted some of these already, but so good to see a few more I can add to my list of great places to get outside and look at the stars and night sky.
