Spain Travel

Spain is a realm of diverse landscapes, rich historical treasures, and some of the finest dining on the continent. From the soaring Sierra Nevada mountains, defying the mediterranean to the south, to the Pyrenees across which the South of France beckons, Spain makes up the bulk of the Iberian Peninsula. As diverse as its geographical landmarks are - so too are its 17 autonomous regions. In the heart of Spain, you'll find Madrid, home to the Royal Palace, the Prado, and a millennium of Spanish history. Across the nation you'll find relics of the past - roman aqueducts, medieval castles, and spectacular churches that are monoliths of architecture.

Only in Spain will you find the works of 20th century masters like Dali and Picasso alongside majestic cathedrals built centuries earlier. Only in Spain will you find the influences of Portugal to the west, France to the east, and Africa to the south. Barcelona sits perched along the Mediterannean sea, the heart of Catalonian culture and a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Spain for the first time. For food and wine lovers, you'll find some of the most iconic restaurants and vineyards in Europe, representing a rich culinary heritage that matches the diversity of the country's culture.

Whether the riches of modern culture in the heart of Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, or Bilbao, or Old Spains' resilient relics - representing the rich and influential history of this still proud nation that sits at the gateway to Europe. A trip to Spain is one you will never forget.
