Vietnam Travel

Stretching from its northern border with China to the heart of the Gulf of Thailand, Vietnam is known for its exquisite beaches, bustling cities, and a special blend of cuisine unlike any you'll find in the region. It's impossible to discuss Vietnam without touching on the sweeping scope of Hanoi to the north and Ho Chi Minh City near the southern tip of the country.

Whether in the heart of these sprawling cities or deep in the hills and jungles of the long stretch along the South China Sea, the cuisine in Vietnam is considered among the most dynamic in the world. From the wondrous concoctions of street food vendors to the unique mix of Chinese and French influences, Vietnamese cuisine is wholly unique - inspired by complex herbal and spice techniques and centuries of refinement.

Vietnam travel wouldn't be complete without recognizing the rich and at times heavy history of the region. Throughout the countryside, Vietnam is dotted with temples, inspired by a range of cultural traditions. The cities still reflect the years of French colonial power. And the grueling impact of a years long war are still seen throughout the nation.

Outside of the cities, Vietnam offers a wealth of outdoor activities, from the teal waters and exquisite caves of Phon Nha-Ke Ban National Park to the unbelievable views you'll find from atop the hills dotting the countryside. A Vietnam itinerary is one full of exciting, exceptional, and unexpected diversions, from the heart of the hills bordering Laos to the crystal clear beaches along the nation's east coast.
