China Travel

One of the largest countries on earth, China is also the oldest, with the first pre-imperial dynasty formed in 2070 BCE. That history alongside recent decades of rapid expansion and modernization make China a land of duality - from the soaring skyscrapers of Shanghai to the ancient ruins of the Great Wall. In China travel is an opportunity to explore the past, experience the present, and marvel at the potential of the future.

With nearly 10 million square km, China's sweeping landscapes are as diverse as anywhere on earth. From soaring mountains in the west to the deserts of the north, China has long been a land of unsurpassed natural beauty. Hike deep into the many forests and bamboo thickets of the country's middle provinces, or enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the beach along hundreds of miles of coastline - China has something for everyone.

China's 1.4 billion people come from a sweeping, diverse tradition. The cuisine represents this well, going far beyond what many in the west think of. You'll find much you recognize and so much more you don't as you explore the many corners of Beijing, the street markets you'll find in almost every major city and more. Because of this diversity in China tours are often a great way to see as much as possible without getting overwhelmed. There are countless places to visit in China - whether you're an explorer, foodie, historian, or just curious about the history of one of the world's greatest civilizations, you'll find it here.
