What to Do In Half Moon Bay

When visiting Half Moon Bay, guests have their choice of events, entertainment and things to do and see. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may be able to take part in one of the area’s annual festivals or take a swim in one of its many beaches. Nature lovers will be more than pleased by the large number of parks and preserves in Half Moon Bay. Whether you want to hike, bike or simply relax, a visit to any one of the local parks will give you just what you need.

Exploring by foot is often the best way to get to know an area that you’ve never been to before. Pescadero Marsh Bird Refuge and Purissima Creek Trails & Creekside Trails offer both novice and experienced hikers alike great trails.

10. Fishing
