Your Vacation time should be a time when you can sit back and relax and enjoy all the things you love most. For music fans there are some amazing vacation venues you can visit which will combine all the awesome aspects of a normal vacation but with some amazing music culture to enjoy alongside them too. You can spend your days chilling out in the sunshine and then kick back with some fantastic music in the evening time. Sounds like heaven right?

Memphis, TN – USA

The birth place of rock and roll – this is a popular vacation destination location for most music lovers. You can take tours around some of history’s most iconic music studios, and you can explore the city to see where amazing artists such as Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley started out their careers. The city also offers lots of other attractions and sights to see, so if you’re taking family who aren’t as interested in music as you are – then there is lots to keep them busy too.

Liverpool – UK

For any music lover, Liverpool should really be a number one destination. The city has undergone lots of regeneration and improvements over the last decade (it was named the UK city of culture last year), making it a fantastic vacation destination. But why would you visit here for music? The Beatles of course! This is where the famous foursome started out and began their amazing career, and the city offers many historical attractions for Beatles lovers everywhere.

Nashville, TN – USA

This is the perfect vacation location for all those country music lovers. Nashville is the hub and home of all country music and the city is so proud of its claim to fame. You’ll find acoustic session and gigs happening on a daily basis, as well as big names coming back to the city to pay tribute to their roots.

New York, NY – USA

The birth place of many music genres, artists and bands – New York is without a doubt one of the most musical cities in the world. Go for the gritty rap and urban music scene in Brooklyn, or visit for the jazz and blues in New Jersey. There is so much variety in this city that you could experience a new music genre every night. There are also some amazing world class music venues such as Madison Square garden, which attract some of the world’s biggest musicians and stars.

New Orleans, LA – USA

The home of blues and jazz, this city is drenched in musical history and musical culture. You’ll be able to experience the music on all levels (there are jazz and blues bars, street performers, museums and theatre performances) so there is something for everyone. There are also loads of great historical museums and attractions to experience too.
