Baiyok Tower II, Bangkok – Located in Bangkok, Thailand, the Baiyok tower II is a 304 meter high, 85 story hotel that holds the title of the tallest hotel in Southeast Asia. Rates start at about 70 pounds per night and go up to a little over 250. The hotel offers extra’s (for an extra price) such as Thai massage, WiFi, Spa, breakfast, flowers and even pickup from the airport.

Grand Lisboa Hotel in Macao

Grand Lisboa, Macao – The Grand Lisboa is not only one of the tallest hotels in the world, it’s also one of the most unique. Standing at 261 meters, it could be considered short compared to some of the other hotels on this list. But the Grand Lisboa is decorated with a very flamboyant and colorful light design that makes the hotel impossible to miss from anywhere in the city. The hotel offers food and dining, entertainment and stunningly decorated rooms, each equipped with a Turkish steam bath and Jacuzzi. Rooms start at 1100 pounds per night!

Swissôtel The StamfordSwissostel the Stamford, Singapore – The Stamford is 226 meters high and has been open since 1986. Services offered by the hotel include bars, more than 16 individual restaurants and Singapore’s largest health spa.  Rates start at 130 GPB per night and up to 300 per night. The Swissostel is a landmark in Singapore due to its unique round shape!

JR Central Towers, Japan – This hotel stands adjacent to the world’s largest train station. Standing 226 meters tall, the towering JR Central Tower caters to the 1.4 million people who pass through Nagoya station each day. The hotel features a small shopping complex and thousands of rooms. The towers are home to more than 40 restaurants and rates are affordable. However; the Towers do not have an English website so you might end up having to book at the hotel.

Rose Tower, Dubai – The Rose Rayhaan by Rotana in Dubai is the world’s tallest hotel! Standing an astounding 333 meters high with 72 floors, the Rose tower is an emblem of luxury and height. Surprisingly, it isn’t extremely expensive to stay at. Rooms start out at around 90 pounds per night. While it isn’t budget friendly, it is a small price to pay for a night in the world’s highest hotel. On the other hand, if you want to stay at the top, the penthouse suite is available for the very wealthy.
