Sugar-white sand and miles of ocean views are what mark Destin, Florida as a popular vacation destination. If you can find an ocean-front property or a home with a view of the water, you’ll always feel like you’re on vacation. You can go to work during the day and then spend time at the HarborWalk Marina or the Destin Harbor Boardwalk at night. Living in Destin is great because you can go down and have fun in the water anytime you want.

In addition to the beach and boardwalk attractions, Destin is also a wonderful place to live for the golf lover. There are world-class golf courses including the Regatta Bay Golf and Country Club, the Kelly Plantation Golf Club, and the Sandestin Golf Resort.

2. Dallas, Texas

You could spend your weekends at the Zero Gravity Thrill amusement Park, go to the Dallas World Aquarium, checkout the Winspear Opera House, or travel back in time with the Dallas Holocaust Museum, and that’s just the start of the list. Sedona, Arizona is another place that has a gorgeous landscape you’ll never want to leave. As a matter of fact, you could have breath-taking views of the red rock from your home. Plus, you never have to worry about the snow, making it seem like you’re always on vacation.

After a busy week at work, you can spend your weekends hiking or biking through the nearby canyons and trails, such as Schnebly Hill Road, the Red Rock State Park, Deo Mountain Trail, and West Fork Oak Creek Trail. Of course, there is also the Sedona Heritage Museum, Center for the New Age, and the Canyon Moon Theatre if you want things to do indoors.

These are just a few vacation destination spots you could call home. The best way to live is to surround yourself with beautiful landscapes but still have access to the attractions of a bog city. What is your favorite vacation spot and would you want to live there?
